Introduction
Algebraic expressions in Algebra deal with the calculations of unknown values. Algebraic expressions are used to find the lengths, areas and volumes of geometrical shapes.
The key terms used in algebraic expression are variables and constants. The variables are written using the letters of english x, y, z etc. which are used in finding the unknown values. The constants and variables in algebraic expressions are connected with the basic arithmetic operation symbols +, -, ×, ÷ and whole numbers.
The variables can have powers which are written on the right of the variable as a superscript. So, algebraic expressions consist of product, factors, coefficients and powers of literal quantities.
